As the Web Specialist, you’ll play a key role in driving day-to-day content management across the MegaFood website, microsites and other digital assets. By collaborating with our in-house Brand, Ecommerce, Customer Experience and Regulatory teams, you’ll be responsible for designing, developing, publishing, updating and optimizing non-commerce content within our website, using the SalesForce Commerce Cloud platform, to help educate and convert consumers. You’ll also contribute to the success of MegaFood.com by developing brand landing pages, building consumer emails, and overseeing 3rd party applications.


  • Collaborate with Brand, Ecommerce, Operations, Customer Experience and Regulatory teams teams to design, develop, maintain and update all types of content, landing pages, microsites, communities and forms with the latest digital marketing activities
  • Work with copywriter to enhance content, SEO and user experience on all online assets
  • Design, develop, send and report on email campaigns and ecommerce email automation plans in collaboration with Brand team
  • Oversee 3rd party SaaS tools and other third party plugins used on MegaFood.com and FoodState.com
  • Take ownership of MegaFood’s CMS platform and provide administration, configuration, and technical support
  • Conduct automated and hands-on QA testing of all aspects of web functionality
  • Provide weekly and monthly reporting via Google Analytics and Adwords across all landing pages and emails, including traffic trends, visitor engagement and retainment, A/B testing, and conversion optimization.
  • Proactively communicate project status to team members as needed, and manage deliverable/launch expectations with all project owners
  • Be a brand steward and last line of defense to ensure compliance and consistency with all campaigns and initiatives across the web properties
  • Stay abreast of latest technologies and trends and recommend ways the company can leverage them to enhance our digital efforts
  • Participate in SalesForce Commerce Cloud training as necessary
  • Seek out opportunities to improve processes and methods to work smarter and deliver results


Experience / Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of digital marketing strategy at the corporate and/or agency level
  • 3-5 years experience with digital marketing tactics including search engine optimization, email marketing and lead nurturing campaigns
  • Technical knowledge and experience in developing, implementing and maintaining web software applications, promotional landing pages, email marketing, ecommerce and digital creative assets
  • Knowledge with trends around enhancing online properties and user experience such as database marketing, chat marketing, podcasting, blogging, privacy, etc.
  • Understanding of current HTML/CSS/XHTML standards, JS and graphic design software
  • Experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud (formerly Demandware) is preferred
  • Experience with a CMS
  • Proficiency with Google analytics and other digital marketing tracking tools
  • Passionate about the customer with an interest in understanding and driving user behavior
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Strong sense of self-motivation as well as service and support orientation
  • Execution oriented, able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced work environment
  • Extreme attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills and ability to effectively prioritize- project management skills preferred
  • Enthusiastic and positive team player who is also able to support and/or demonstrate the Foodstate mission, values and ideals, as well
  • Ability to take analysis into action, execute to timelines and provide timely solutions
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence, negotiate, align and establish trust within team, across peer groups and external partners

Education Requirement

Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, business administration, programming, journalism or related field, or equivalent knowledge and experience.
