Digital Product Project Manager will lead and manage digital product and technology focused project(s). The project(s) will span technologies and platforms and have a wide business impact across departments.  The delivery of these digital product project(s) have been identified as part of the overall FoodState Digital Strategy.
The successful candidate will manage day-to-day planning, scheduling, tracking and reporting for project-related initiatives, potentially spanning multiple web sites and brands, marketing, sales and operations, and both domestic and international.


  • Will be a key contributor of the cross-functional FoodState Digital team and will work closely with business stakeholders, partners and project team members to manage project timelines from inception to launch
  • Will be responsible for delivery of the User Experience (UX), User Interaction (UI) and Interface Design, Development, Testing and User testing of project- working closely with a team of Business and Product Owners as well as external partners
  • Manage the design of insight-driven digital UX, ensuring optimization of consumer journey across the digital landscape 
  • Will manage the integration of website analytics, business objectives, and technology capabilities to drive design and digital requirements scope for new digital capabilities
  • Partner with business project team members, vendors, internal IT team, and testing teams to scope, develop, and deploy new website experiences
  • Will have a strong knowledge of Agile as well as other Project Management Methodologies
  • Will work with project team and extended team members on a day to day basis: gathering business requirements, development with potentially offshore teams, project plans and timelines, running daily meetings with delivery teams, informing management at all levels
  • Develop project risk management plans; documentation of management systems and tools, ensuring complete and accurate records of processes and systems
  • Working directly with marketing and IT in bringing custom offerings directly to our consumer base in the most effective, informative way possible
  • Plan and implement components of our launch with a focus on pricing, offerings and custom kits
  • Provide insight when it comes to consumer behaviors, buying habits and transaction commonalities
  • Serve as the voice of the customer to the Marketing Team on the evolution of the FoodState commerce site as far as content/assets that will meet the needs of our customers and ultimately drive our business
  • Confidently leads cross-functional business and external teams to project success, using the most appropriate project management methodology
  • Coordinate the launch of a new commerce site
  • Ensures timely and appropriate generation, collection, and dissemination of project information
  • Will be proactive and drive projects forward in a positive way
  • Ability to manage ambiguity and able to adapt to change


  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • 5-7 years experience as Digital Project Manager and/or in eCommerce operations
  • Experience with delivery of Agile projects is essential. An understanding of best practice Agile Project Management approaches and how to apply them
  • Knowledge of management principles and practices including budgeting, cost estimating, and fiscal management principles and procedures
  • Solid digital experience working across large websites, mobile to desktop
  • Experience working with offshore teams and agencies
  • Familiarity and appreciation of the strengths and weaknesses of a range of technologies is useful
  • Technical knowledge and experience in managing the development of web sites, email marketing campaigns, ecommerce sites, social media and digital creative assets
  • Working knowledge of site architecture, site administration, custom module development, custom theme development.
  • Working knowledge of Google analytics and other digital marketing tracking tools.
  • Experience with Search Advertising, PPC, Display Network Advertising, etc.    
  • Ability to quickly understand and master integrated business applications
  • Proven leader, strategic thinking and organizational planning skills
  • Highly process-oriented with skill in defining operational processes, project management, and prioritization
  • Technical skills: Some knowledge of HTML5, CSS, JavaScript
  • MS-Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint); MS-Access and/or MS-Project
